INTRODUCTION
The Interuniversitary Master in Nanosciencie and Molecular Nanotechnology
does not have precedents nationally since he discusses the aspects placed
in the intersection of one science at his peak as he is Nanosciencie with
the more traditional molecular systems . It influences, therefore, scientific
areas of present-day interest like Molecular Electronics , Molecular Magnetism
, the Supramolecular Chemistry , Physics at Superficies, or the Molecular
Materials Science.
The Master is targeted to instruct students at
the field of Nanosciencie and Nanotechnology with the purpose that they
may develop a professional activity at this field, or a research activity
leading to a Doctoral Thesis.
Collaboration among various centers with experience
in the different aspects of this discipline
(physicist/chemist, theoretical/experimental, basic/applied) confers an
interdisciplinary nature in current formative courses. Given the interuniversitary
nature of the Master we will pay special attention to the fomentation
of the mobility and the interaction among students as well as the contact
with other Universities, research centers and companies working in this
area.
On the other hand, you will go to learn how to
focus the scientific problems from the perspective of Material Science.
Finally, you will acquire an overview on the impact of the Nanoscience
in other scientific and technological areas of interest like electronics,
chemistry, biomedicine, pharmacy or material science.
Objectives
The main objectives of this Interuniversitary Master are:
I ) Capacitating the student in order to acquire
knowledge and capacities to be able to develop a professional activity
in companies with technological basis like :
· Chemical industries and pharmacists related with the synthesis
of molecules, sensors and biosensores and new advanced materials.
· Laboratories of materials analysis.
· Biomedical applications.
· Environmental and energetics applications.
· Industries of microelectronics.
Likewise, the Master will encourage the creation
of spin-offs and base technological companies.
II ) Training the student for incorporation to
the programs of doctorate to obtain a higher degree that will authorize
him to practice as a university professor or investigator at any researcher
institution.
